ini hobby baru gue, nulis", upload", posting ke blog.
menurut gue ini suatu hal yang positif. anggap aj blog ini sebagai buku harian.so setiap gue pengen nuangin smua isi pikiran gue disini tempatnya.

conversation about meeting

D : ok. We are here this morning to have a meeting about our plan to add new dishes to our menu in our restaurant. Please read the details on the paper given by ms. S. and I hope you guys will give ideas and good suggestions to this matters.

S : thank you ms D. Good morning all. I see that everybody has paper for each.

ALL : good morning

S : first, we are going to discuss about adding new dishes to our menu. The second is about the foods and beverages composition in our restaurant. Third, we are going to discuss about the cost and this will be delivered by financial dept. And the last items is about the marketing by Marketing dept. D, would you lead the meeting, please?

D : thanks S. as we know, the adding menu is fried rice.  I think we have to diversify the menu, our plan is to add fried rice in our main course list’s . The fried rice can be put in our morning and night menus. We already pick a name of it. The dishes is Caribean fried rice. Since we are international restaurant we combine our local dishes with international flavor. So, guys what do you think?

P : I agree with you D, caribia is a very exotic islands and offer many flavors  and we can combine our local flavor with international brand and images.

M: I do not agree with this idea, since we need more efforts to promote and introduce this dish to the customers. Better we use Indonesian name and brand with the specific flavors of Indonesia… since fried rice is Indonesian cuisine.

P : okay, so we just change the name? into Indonesian name??

M : yes… this is also to make Indonesia famous with the cuisine..

D : so what is the name of the dish??  What about KOPROL fried rice?? I think its very unique  and match with the other food and beverages composition in our restaurant. 

P : what ingredient will we put in it?? Seafood, mushroom and beef. With spicy flavors and other choices.

M : okay…. We are able to make promotion soon after production department make the dish.

D : what about the finance dept? do you think that we can afford it??

F : we still able to make it D, with the budget. The cost of making new dish is available and also to make promotions in every media. We will sell this dish rp 65.000,- what about that??

D: I don’t agree with that price, I think we can sell it for 45.000 rupiahs and we still get the benefits.

M: I agree with you D. with the price I think 45 000 is a good price.

D : do we have made conclusion??? Does everybody agree with this??

All: yes

D ; okay, its all set.

Ingredients :

olive oil	3 Tbsps
onion	1	chopped
celery stalk	2	chopped
carrot	1	peeled and chopped
garlic clove	2	diced
basmati rice	3 cups
chicken broth	3 cups
water	3 cups
bay leaf	3
red pepper flakes	1 pinch	to taste
black beans (cannned)	3/4 cup	drained
cumin	1/4 tsp	to taste
thyme (dried)	1/4 tsp
oregano (dried)	1/4 tsp
cinnamon stick	1
salt	1 tsp	to taste
black pepper	1/2 tsp	to taste
green onion	2	chopped
cilantro	1	chopped
Plantains
plantain	2	ripe, peeled and sliced
vegetable oil	1/2 cup	seeded

Directions

1. Heat the olive oil in a stockpot over medium heat.
2. Add the onion, celery, and carrot. Sauté until the onions become translucent.
3. Add the garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
4. Add the jasmine rice and thoroughly combine.
5. Add the chicken broth, water, bay leaves, red pepper flakes, black beans, cumin, thyme, oregano, cinnamon stick, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil and lower to a simmer over very low heat.
6. Cover the pot and cook for about 20 minutes.
7. In a frying pan heat the vegetable oil over medium heat and fry the plantains on each side for about 2 minutes. Remove to a paper covered plate to dry.
8. Chop the plantains. Add with the green onions and cilantro to the dish. Combine well and serve.
